Whether it’s for messages, photos, or simply checking the time, your phone is something you use often in this digital world. In fact, the average person picks up their phone around 110 times a day! Thankfully, this led us to think: why not make every glance a little more inspiring?
Designing your phone layout is more than just making it look pretty: It’s a creative way to reflect your energy and set the tone for your day. And if your phone model/OS supports customization, you’ll have plenty of freedom to experiment until it feels just right!
Let’s talk lock screens
This is the first thing you see when you pick up your phone, so make it something that really sparks positive emotions.
For Spring 2025, collage-style wallpapers are trending: layered visuals, dreamy colors, and cute stickers that make your phone feel like a personalized moodboard. You’ll find some of our most-loved Pinterest pins below (pick your favourite!):
If you want to create your own, Pinterest now lets you build collages right inside the app. Just search for pins you like, tap the three dots on a pin, and select “Add to collage.” Once you’re happy with your design, screenshot it and set it as your wallpaper.
Customizing your icons
Custom icons can really add to the harmony of your phone layout. In the early days when iOS 14 was introduced, many users had to use the Apple Shortcuts app and deal with an unwanted redirection to it every time they clicked on a custom app icon. Fortunately, that hassle has been minimized (now, you only receive a brief notification when launching custom icon apps!)

Experiment With Different Widgets
Widgets can provide useful information at a glance, but they’re also amazing for decorating and personalizing your layout! Many popular apps like Widgetsmith and Widgetable offer a wide range of options that can help you create a cohesive look. Try playing around with different sizes and placements until your home screen feels balanced and intentional, and of course, there’s always lots of inspiration for widget layouts online!

Make Your Phone a Spring-Themed Space You Love
Your phone layout is like a mini environment for your digital life. When every detail is thoughtfully curated, it can really lift your mood or even boost your productivity throughout the day. Taking the time to adjust your wallpaper, icons, and widgets can lead to an aesthetic design that reflects the energy you want to cultivate.
If you love cherry blossoms, make them the theme of your layout. Or if vibrant flowers make you feel inspired, let them shine through your wallpapers and icons. Whatever makes you feel good, bring it into your phone design!
